WHAT TO WEAR: It's only my advice, but I usually recommend wearing mostly solid or neutral colors as they don't stand out harshly and ultimately take away from the most important subject -- your kiddo's face!  Button-ups, polos or plain tees are a great option with khaki or jean pants/shorts.  Large graphics or cartoon characters can have the same distracting effect, however, these are 100% YOUR photos so feel free to dress them however you wish!

WHAT TO BRING: You don't necessarily have to bring any items, but if he/she has a favorite book, awesome!  I can incorporate it into a photo.

WHAT TO PAY:  The cost of the mini session is $40 and will be due when photos are taken.  I realize some parents have more than one child and this could get costly so, to make it a bit easier, I'll charge $40 for the first child and $20 for each additional. 

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE SESSION:  Being unaware of how many individual sessions I'll end up with at this point, it's hard to give an exact estimate on how long it will take to complete all of the edits.  I don't anticipate it taking over a week for all sessions to be posted online and no more than two weeks for all USBs to be ready to mail out/pick up.  If something should happen in the meantime that could cause a delay, I'll definitely keep you updated.. but I don't look for anything like that to happen and it should be a fairly quick turn-around.

          My senior portrait package is one of a kind!  I use Adobe Photoshop to enhance your natural beauty and bring out important features like your eyes!  I can eliminate any annoying blemishes or correct skin discoloration that you may not be happy with, all while leaving the skin looking soft and natural.  I stay up-to-date in the newest editing techniques so your pictures will be sure to impress!

          While making preparations for a studio, all of my current sessions are done outdoors!  I personally love this because that makes backgrounds and settings nearly endless and natural light is always the best.  I can travel to you or we can work together and come up with one or two great locations to meet within about 50 miles--give or take--from New Haven, IL.  If you know of an awesome location a bit farther away, no worries!  We can probably work something out.

          Upon completing the editing process of your photos, I'll ask which is your favorite.  Then, I'll create your personalized USB drive that will be used to save your session and mailed to you.  Extra USB drives will be available if needed.  Your photos will come with a copyright release form and this is super important.  Most printing labs will require that you show this form before they'll print your photos and it's simply for my protection.  I'll save the form on your USB drive so it's easily accessible in case you forget or lose your paper copy.

          Coming hand-in-hand with my love for photography is my love for styling hair and makeup.  I graduated from Rogers Academy of Hair Design in Evansville, IN in 2010.  I was always more interested in styling hair than doing actual haircuts and I often fantasized about working behind the scenes of runway fashion shows.  However, Southern Illinois doesn't have too many fashion shows (okay, none) and my roots are buried deep in my hometown.  By combining these two talents for Senior Photoshoots, I offer an experience that will be hard to beat!  Note: I'm one of those girls who prefers to do my own hair and makeup and if you're the same way, I totally get it!  Just know that this is an option.
